Founded and built the Corporate Development function at KPMG, where he spent 18 years, including as Principal, serving on the Investment Committee and sourcing and closing acquisitions to seed new capability and fuel the growth of the firm. His role extended beyond deal sourcing to leading integration, driving value creation agendas, and establishing post-deal monitoring across the portfolio. He also played a central role in shaping the firm's broader growth strategy, advising leadership and the board on investment priorities beyond any single transaction.

Earlier in his career, he served in a strategy and chief of staff role to the Chairman & CEO through KPMG Consulting's initial public offering, then rose to lead the firm's corporate development function on a global basis as Managing Director of BearingPoint, contributing to corporate governance and investment committees while guiding acquisitions and market entry and exit strategy across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He began his career on the White House staff under President George H.W. Bush. This practitioner-level view, gained from evaluating and integrating acquisitions from the buy side rather than as an outside advisor, gives him a sharp read on what separates a strong target from one that merely looks good on paper.
